LITTLE PEOPLE ASSOCIATION

Thanks for the material support provided so far. We really appreciate this collaboration and I thought to send you some news about the recent activities of the association. We have just returned from the 12th edition of the Temerarii Summer Camp, where we had 6 days of inspiration along with 120 young cancer survivors. We were charged with energy, motivation and the desire to do even more for survivors and cancer patients that we encounter during the oncological treatment in the 9 oncopediatrics departments in the country where we were working. “Year by year Summer Camp Temerarii is the most anticipated event of the Community of Young Cancer Survivors in Romania-Temerarii. This year we lived together unforgettable moments, we laughed and had fun competing in the grass games. We have proven once again that we are #onebigfamily. For me, the most special feeling is when I come back year after year with the temerarii people that I met during the treatment and with the other temerarii ones that I have known during the camps that I have attended over the years. For me, the moments spent with the temerari mean fun, understanding and acceptance. I am proud that this year I also had the opportunity to participate with the Junior Temerari at another Temerarii camp ”, said Andreea Dumitru, a former patient at the Bucharest Oncological Institute, today one of the Little People employees.21
