In the context in which the Romanian state has not built anything in the field of pediatric oncology in the last fifty years, Asociația Dăruiește Viața has assumed the mission to raise the first hospital of Oncology and Radiotherapy for children diagnosed with cancer in Romania. It is for the first time, in Romania, an NGO builds a hospital from scratch, exclusively from donations and sponsorships. Over 1.500 companies and over 150.000 individuals are among the donors who have contributed to the financing of this large-scale project, with an estimated investment of approximately 16 million euros, which 28will materialize in a 6-storey hospital and an area of 12.000 square meters, fully equipped and provided with an operating block with 8 operating rooms.
